Productive relationshiops between the disabled and their aides
As a person with a physical disability, I was really happy to see that another disabled person made a documentary about the relationships between them and their aides. This documentary gives very good pointers on what is inportant to have the best chance of having good relationships with one's aides. As with any relationship, communication and understanding are key and client-aides relationships are no different. I highly recomend anyone especially other disabled people to check out this documentary as it offers really good pointers on how to handle things when it comes to aides. I won't describe everything as it will only ruin the joy of watching this documentary but I will say that this video is definitely worth watching. You never know maybe one day you might need help and this video details the steps on how to hire people that will hopefully work out for you and whom you will have good relationships with.
