WB, did you ran out of looney tunes?!
Unbelievable... I just found out that this disc is the first disc of the Platinum Collection (which has three discs), double dipped in the same sauce, renamed as Showcase. Shame on you, WB, I almost bought this for my child - what a disappointment would have been for him!
I suggest other different names for future releases of the same disc:
"Looney tunes Prime"
"This is Looney Tunes - Vol. 1"
"This is Looney Tunes - Vol. I"
"This is Looney Tunes - Volume One"

Shame on you, Warner Bros. [please note, the second "Shame on you has the name of the company spelled out, therefore it is a different statement]

This is a case for the BBB.

Great cartoons once again that I enjoy when wanted...
Straight forward, my "Looney Tunes" are wonderful. I get to watch REAL cartoons when I want and the purchase was exactly what I needed and at a Great Price. I suggest you don't hesitate to purchase these awsome cartoons.. Stan - Stayk.com

Dream Program Workshop- 7 Keys to Achieving Dreams

Real people. Really amazing results by following the Dream Program.
After watching the Dream Program DVD, I came away feeling empowered and filled with a new hope for the future. Dina and Mark Beauvais are the creators of the Dream Program (please note: Dina Beauvais wrote the book "Dream to Destiny" which is what this DVD is based on. She also has a mentoring program if you should so choose).

Through their own life experiences and dedication to helping others, they have been able to fine tune the steps to creating a life of passion and purpose. It's easy to just sit on this information and not do anything about it, but they show you exactly how to manifest your heart's desires through the inner journey of discovery and then taking action.

Dream to Destiny DVD-Excellent
I recently purchased the Dream to Destiny Workshop on DVD. I've been a strong supporter of the Dream Program for quite some time, and although I try and follow this program daily, I find the Dream to Destiny Workshop DVD and added bonus to the entire program. It keeps me focused and motivated. Mark and Dina are excellent, dedicated mentors. I would recommend this DVD and the Dream to Destiny program itself to anyone. I've sent my own children the DVD Workshop and hope it will make a difference in their lives as it has in mine. Thank you Dina and Mark for caring so much about other people and helping to improve their lives.

Styx: The Grand Illusion / Pieces of Eight- Live [DVD / 2CD]

Classic presentation from a definitive classic rock band
As a writer for a guitar magazine, I got just an advance of the two-CD, single DVD (not Blu-Ray) set, ten days before the actual release date. My wife and I caught the show at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, four days after the band had videoed and recorded the show at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis for this release.

From a technical sense, this is a masterpiece---filmed in HD w/ 11 cameras, and the accompanying coordinated video that played on the screen while the band is playing live is visible enough to where you can tell that the video production company nailed their assignment in prepping this for the concert
(definitive example: The screen explodes with a "Get up!" graphic when that shout-out line comes along in "Fooling Yourself".

Three of the songs had never been performed in concert before, and the band is in fine form. As for perceived controversies about the lineup, the disproportionate live albums, etc., this is the most stable...

The concert I was imagining in the dark all those years ago
At age 13, one of the first records I ever bought was Styx's "Grand Illusion." When "Pieces of Eight" came out, I scrambled to get it. I remember lying on my back, lights out, headphones on, partaking in their sonic magic.

By the time I began attending concerts (probably just a year later) Styx had already ventured off into "Top 40 Land" and I lost interest. I've seen the band numerous times since they re-grouped in 1990. And while every show has been great, none have fully matched my initial infatuation.

For me, this DVD is pretty close to "the Holy Grail." It's the concert I was imagining in the dark all those years ago.

Anyone familiar with these albums already knows that the set list is nothing less than perfect. In this performance, Styx is musically tight and with a majestic sound, looking healthy and happy. Each musician excels, and the Styx signature harmonies are out in force. Great care has been taken to fine-tune everything, even Styx...
